LASERS FOR LOVE HANDLES?

Lasers melts fat ? Lasers reduce inflammation, pain and stimulate tissue healing We know that lasers are a valuable tool to reduce inflammation, pain and stimulate tissue healing. Yet, there is a lot of confusing information about the therapeutic effect of extremely lasers in the range of 5 to 30 milliwatts for fat reduction. High powered hot lasers dissolve fat This clinical trial described and evaluated the effectiveness of the Erchonia “Zerona” Laser System for fat reduction and body contouring. Circumference measurements revealed no statistically significant reduction in fat. Ultrasound measurements also did not reveal a statistically significant reduction in fat layer thickness. Research does document the effectiveness of high powered, hot lasers to dissolve fat which can then absorbed by the body. Cool lasers have been proven to make tissue look better but we believe that is due to its effect of stimulating collagen production. LASER IMPROVES SPORTS PERFORMANCE!

Laser therapy and sports injuries Laser therapy optimizes muscle performance Low level laser therapy (LLLT) has been documented to optimize human muscle performance with physical exercise. This study tested the effect of Low level laser therapy (LLLT) on physical strength training compared with strength training only. Laser therapy increases strength The study involved 36 healthy, fit men using an 808 nm continuous wavelength laser, much like the Apollo. The LLLT men showed an increase of 55% in strength on isokinetic dynamometry, significantly higher than the increases with exercise alone. Soon we may see LLLT commonly used to improve sports performance.
